Diving Boards in Plymouth Sound

Jon has been campaigning to install new sea-based pontoon diving boards in Plymouth Sound since 2020.

Too many people have been risking their lives and serious injury tombstoning. Jon believes that having sea-based pontoon diving boards installed by Tinside Pool, in Plymouth Sound, will eliminate the risks involved with tombstoning and it will help to keep children safe.

He has been working with Plymouth residents, local businesses, and Plymouth City Council to ensure that this happens by 2024.

Jon has suggested using a portion of the £9.5m grant that Plymouth received for becoming the first National Marine Park to pay for the new Sea-based Diving Boards.
