Access For All
Ramps, dropped kerbs and repaired pavements across Plymouth — and practical access advice for local businesses.
The City Centre part of the ward covers Armada Way, Royal Parade and the streets around them. For Jon the two questions here are always the same: can a disabled person actually get around it, and are independent traders being helped or hindered.
He has worked with Plymouth City Centre Company, local building firms and disability charities on ramps, dropped kerbs and pavement repairs, and secured an amphitheatre at the top of the new Armada Way scheme.
Street name, what is wrong, how long it has been like that, and a photograph if you have one. Send it to Jon and it gets logged the same day where possible.
